Policies at House of Breath
House of Breath is committed to creating spaces that are thoughtful, safe, and well-held. The following policies support clarity, fairness, and care for all participants.
Registration & Payment
Registration is confirmed once payment is received. Spaces are limited and cannot be held without payment. By registering for any program, session, or event at House of Breath, you agree to the policies outlined on this page.
Cancellation & Refunds
To support sustainability and thoughtful planning, House of Breath maintains the following cancellation policies:
Adult offerings:
Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund or credit. Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled session are non-refundable.
Kids programs & camps:
Registration is refundable up to 14 days prior to the program start date. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable, as staffing and space have been reserved.
Missed sessions:
Missed sessions are not eligible for refunds or makeups.
Program cancellations:
In the unlikely event that House of Breath needs to cancel a session or program, participants will receive a full refund or credit.
Health, Illness & Absence
For the well-being of all participants, we ask that anyone who is unwell stay home.
For kids programs, if a child is sick, families are asked to keep them home for the day. Missed days are not eligible for refunds or makeups. This policy helps protect the health of the group and staff.
Weather & Safety
House of Breath follows local safety guidance and may adjust programming due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances. Families and participants will be notified by email in the event of closures or schedule changes.
Participation & Community Care
House of Breath is grounded in safety, respect, and care for the whole group. Participants are expected to engage in ways that support their own well-being and the well-being of others.
If a participant’s behavior becomes unsafe, disruptive, or repeatedly interferes with the experience of the group, facilitators will first seek to offer support, redirection, or a pause as appropriate. If concerns persist, House of Breath reserves the right to ask a participant to step away from a session or program.
For children, this may include contacting a parent or caregiver for early pickup if needed. In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed. This policy exists to ensure a safe, supportive environment for all.
Communication
Email is the primary method of communication. Messages are typically returned within 1–2 business days. Please note that House of Breath does not provide emergency services.
Privacy
House of Breath respects your privacy. Email addresses and contact information are used solely for direct communication related to the programs, workshops, or sessions you have registered for.
Your information is not shared, sold, or used for unrelated marketing. Any updates or messages you receive will be directly connected to your participation in House of Breath offerings.
